La Zagaleta is just a 20-minute drive up the Ronda Road from the bustling coastal town of San Pedro. Puerto Banus is a 25-minute drive away with the best of international shopping featuring Tom Ford, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and much more. Locally you will find adjoined to the estate the fabulous Coto restaurant with a superb husband and wife team at the helm serving the most delectable fine dining that rivals any international establishment. Locally you have a few minute’s drives away from the facilities in La Heredia including a bar, bakers, and butchers, you will also find an Open Cor, Pharmacy, Organic supermarket, various bars and restaurants, and dry cleaners in Monte Halcones a short drive away.
You do need a car in La Zagaleta because there is no public transport and the road is too mountainous to walk up and down, however, everything from hospitals, doctors’ surgeries, international schools, Golf Courses, and much more are a mere 10 – 15 minute drive away. Malaga airport is under an hour’s drive away and there is also a helipad within the resort. An ideal location for a permanent home, holiday home, or rental investment.
